It all began around 2008 when Daniel embarked on his first adventure with his wife, Chanel, a skilled scuba diving instructor.

Her expertise ignited Daniel’s own passion for diving, starting with his training in Thailand and progressing through his Advanced Open Water certification in Vietnam and Rescue certification in Egypt. Daniel’s deep dive into the world of underwater photography began during his year-long stint with Scuba Junkie on Mabul Island, Borneo. Surrounded by the breathtaking marine biodiversity of the region, he started capturing the wonders beneath the waves. This pivotal experience not only honed his skills but also laid the foundation for his transition into professional photography and videography. Encouraged by Chanel, Daniel expanded his focus to land-based photography, capturing the beauty of people and families. Today, he runs a successful photography business in Singapore and continues to produce stunning video content for scuba diving resorts, hotels, and liveaboards across the globe. His work spans exotic locations including Micronesia, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Maldives, the Solomon Islands, and Egypt.

At the heart of Daniel’s work is his desire to share the marvels of the ocean with the world.

His daughter, Alba, who is nearly 6 years old, eagerly awaits the day she can join her parents in exploring the underwater world. Daniel’s unique perspective, shaped by his diverse experiences and deep-seated love for the ocean, drives him to create captivating and immersive visual stories that inspire and educate.

"The ocean stirs the heart, inspires the imagination, and brings eternal joy to the soul." – Wyland
